Using DV Handsets with Vodafone Pro Fibre service (Full fibre)

Hi

Despite what I have managed to find and read about the BT HD DV Handsets ONLY working with BT Smart Hubs, I have just had a webchat session with a Vodafone agent who confirmed (3 times!) that he believes my existing 4 BT HD DV Handsets would be able to be used with Vodafone equipment (e.g. router/hub) if I switch to their Pro Fibre (full fibre) service.

Can anyone confirm/deny Vodafone's view about the BT DV handsets working with non-BT equipment/routers?

Thx

They should work as the proprietary part of DV is between the hub and exchange and the converse, third party DECT handsets work with DV.

I'm assuming that the Vodafone hub is also a DECT base station like the BT hub.

As above, they should work to make & receive calls. Whether other features like contacts (that with DV are stored on the Hub) will work, there’s only one way to find out. Bear in mind that any handsets supplied FOC by BT are only on loan & would need to be returned.

I take your point about handset loan/ownership as well.
