Cannot access my router home page. Entering the address only sends me to a blank page waiting for Home hub redirect. Can anyone help, please? I have full fibre broadband.
try a different browser 192.168.1.254 should get you to your hub
Thank you for that Ihave tried with Google as well but get the same result. Any ideas or is it just me not being very au fait with modern technology?
Try putting it in as
https://192.168.1.254
Thank you, it will not accept https, it just states continue to site anyway but it does not go to site.
Thank you, I get the warning but I cannot access the site. Will try with another browser.
It sounds like the Home Hub redirect may be getting stuck rather than the router itself being unreachable. I’d try accessing the hub from a different browser or an incognito/private window first, and temporarily disable any VPN, proxy, or browser extensions.
It’s also worth restarting the Home Hub and checking that your device is connected directly to the home network. If possible, try another device as well. If the hub’s local address still only shows a blank redirect page, clearing the browser cache or trying the router’s local IP address instead of the usual BT address may help.
I’d avoid doing a factory reset until the basic connection and browser checks have been ruled out. For comparison, if other websites such as brickbreaker.io load normally, that would suggest the issue is specifically with the Home Hub interface rather than your internet connection.
If HTTPS didn't work, I'd try clearing the browser cache next.
