Please can someone help me.
My broadband is with BT and my mobile phone is with EE.
I'm experiencing problems with connection my eufy Security Solar Wall Light Cam S120 to my Wi-Fi.
Funny on the box is quotes Easy-5-Minute Installation.
I wish to connect it to my BT Broadband and my EE Wi-Fi so that when I'm out I can be notified on any activities by my home.
Please this is urgent because someone cracked my car windscreen and I had to replace the whole front windscreen which cost me a lot of my.
Thank you for all your help and support.
Hopefully, this might help. I have a full Eufy security system and generally it’s all usually, easy enough to set up.
Temporarily disable the 5ghz WiFi band on your BT router and try pairing the camera then on just the 2.4ghz band. Once the camera has connected, you can turn the 5ghz back on. You will need to access your router settings to do this.
Hi,
Thank you for your reply.
To be honest I don't know how to access my route, should I just call BT for help.
No, just enter https://192.168.1.254/ in your browser address bar.
If your wall light cam is solar powered, try taking it about fifty feet from the router, go up the garden etc, and try to connect it. Over a certain distance it should automatically switch to using 2.4ghz band. Once connected you can position it where you want. I've done this with other smart devices successfully, so worth a try.
It's nothing to do with the device itself, it can only 'see' the 2.4Ghz band. It is when setting it up using a smartphone connecting to it in ad hoc mode is using 5Ghz. You need to force the phone onto 2.4Ghz by simply turning off 5Ghz.
