You will have to de-register the handset and re-register and it will take up whatever number based on how many handsets are registered. If you have old handsets which were still registered when they were sent off or disposed of they will still have a number.
Only way round that one is to factory reset the hub (which will make the username / password what it was) and re-register the handsets in the order you want
