Do you have and used a BTMail email account or are you trying to open a new BTMail account?

If it is the latter, and you have never had a BTMail account you are no longer able to set up a BTMail email account. 

BT no longer offer email addresses to new BT Broadband customer. This option was withdrawn on 26^th October 2022.

If it is not an email account you want to set up but instead your BT account see this link.
