It now appears that BTMail logon page is now working. If any issues try clearing your web browsers history and cookies.

Yes, email access OK now but "site undergoing maintenance message" still appears. I agree that the worst thing about this is the lack of any direct information from BT by text and having to search online - I've received several texts from them regarding other matters lately. Also agree with earlier post that the login process has always been wobbly ever since they moved from Yahoo in about 2012, it was fine till then. And they are one of the most if not THE most expensive service providers. Anyway The Sun has reported it now.....

Well- my email has magically reappeared but I cannot access "My BT"

I just get the error message

"We’ll be right back -sorry, but we’re doing some maintenance on the site at the moment. It should be back, better than ever, in a short while"

and 

"We're launching something new 
We’ve got some changes to make to our website, but we'll be back up and running again soon.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience.."

At lease I'm halfway there... But are BT..?

PS- why do people in charge of websites constantly seek to "launch something new"?  A bit like Elon Musk and SpaceX?

I am up and running again, thank goodness, so BT seems to have fixed the problem!

AAArgh!

Having first whinged about the outage that stopped me and other from logging in to Email or "My BT", then, after the email re-appeared, having bragged about a 50% solution, (below) I find it exasperating that when "My BT" finally re-surfaced, its demands for a new password are more exacting than my email's password (more letters, number, symbols, etc!).  So I can?t use the same one!  Grrr

Still- that's progress?
