Add your BT email account to the Gmail app and simply drag and drop the folders over to the Gmail account. You will only be able to move the folders you created. To move the Inbox and Sent folder contents, create duplicate folders named BTInbox and BTsent, drag and drop the contents from the original folders and then move the new folders to the Gmail account. You can then delete the BT account from the Gmail app

I might not have explained myself properly. Just checking I’m on iPad with BT email account and I’ve added gmail account on my iPad. Want to switch my bt folders to gmail labels on iPad so I can change internet provider and not lose information in bt folders.

If the manual method fails, you can try using the SysTools IMAP Migration Tool. With the free trial you can shift upto 100 emails in the first 5 folders of your BT email account to Gmail
