Upgrade to our latest BT Email app
Many customers are still using an old version of the BT email app which will soon stop working.
From 17 March, we’ve been reaching out to these customers to let them know they have 30 days to upgrade to our latest App.
Checking what version of the App you have
- You can check the version by holding down on the app from your home page
- Tap on ‘app info’
- If it’s the latest version it will show ‘24.1.1 IOS Mobile’ or ‘24.1.7 Android’
You can simply update to the latest version via the App Store/Google Play Store.
What this means
- You’ll still be able to access your BT Email using webmail, using an email client or by installing the Mail App on an alternative compatible device (Android version 9 or later, or iOS 14 or later)
- If you don’t upgrade before we stop supporting the old version, you’ll be unable to log in to your account
