A tale of two Exchanges

I am thinking about moving to Market Drayton.

There are 2 exchange that serve this community/

market drayton WNMD and childs ercall WNCE.

My potential house is 9TF1ND and can only get superfast fibre and is connected to childs ercall (at least by postcode)

Market Drayton offers Full Fibre

My question - can i request a new line for my house that connects to the market drayton exchange so i can get full fibre ??

No, you can not request which Exchange your house is connected to.

If you want Full Fibre at your new house immediately I’d suggest you buy a house you know has Full Fibre.

it does make sense that you cant request, but then I dont quite understand why a house in Market Drayton is not on a market drayton exchange in the first place.

How do I find out if WNCE is going to be upgraded any time soon ?

Check openreach as they publish next set of exchanges to be upgraded to fibre
