Anyway to stop the 10 - 14 day disconnection?

Hi

I am running full fibre and I use the bt ultrafast home hub, its very good mainly because you can still disconnect between 2.4ghz and the 5ghz channel which the latest smart home hub 2 you cannot do. My only issue is I am running 2xNetgear EX8000 as extenders which are fantastic and do an incredible job but when the router does a reset I have to then manually sort the extenders out again because the reset causes signal issues between the router and the extenders which is annoying is there anyway maybe via the bt routers settings or someway I can stop this 10 - 14 day disconnection?

Simple solution, buy a decent router, don't subscibe to digital voice. If you need a phone use an independant voip proveder.

No its still there and I'm on a 900/100 package I wish it did go away its really annoying but no bang on the days soon as you hit near the 14 day turn around it resets everytime. @pippincp I do know about buying another router to solve the problem but I like the Ultrafast BT router so why should I have too I think its very good it does a very good job apart from the reset so what you are saying is I am forced to buy another router just because of a 14 day reset

Re: Anyway to stop the 10 - 14 day disconnection?

If you are happy with an ISP locked down router then why are you complaining about a 14 day reset?  I merely gave you an alternative.

Basic users are usually quite happy with the lower performance of the ISP supplied, others prefer there own.

I can only assume you are happy to continue with the 14 day reset. You can alwats override it with a reset convenient to you.
