Compensation is payable after two working days after reporting the issue , weekends don’t count , so report on a Saturday or Sunday , if not fixed by end of play on Tuesday the compensation until it is fixed , not sure why you think considering emigration is relevant, what you can’t do while your broadband is off is immaterial on a residential broadband service , advising your ISP of the things you can’t do doesn't speed things up , as far as reasons why , it’s not a national failure , so unlikely that anyone will know why your individual service is off …..the problem may be only affecting you
