Broadband dropping out again

Last night and this evening Wi-Fi been dropping out. Edinburgh area. 
Any reason?

Wi-fi specifically, or your broadband service generally (the two are different)?

Have you checked downdetector for any reports from other users in your area?

Hi. 
It’s the Wi-Fi actually. The down detector says users report no issues. 
when Wi-Fi drops the router still seems to have the green light.

Green light? What router are you using? The green light usually indicates it's just starting up (which could be your problem if it's rebooting itself regularly for some reason):
