Broadband speeds and game pass

Hi, I recently updated my broadband to fibre 900 on the 15,04 but I’m not getting the updated speeds. When I test it says 400 on my router but when I download stuff it says only about 80 download as in my old speed?. I also got a email saying I can claim by Xbox ultimate 12 months for free due to the offer but I’m unable to accept it on my account.
