Business Smart Hub 3 power supply

Had an interesting fault with my full fibre.   The Smart Hub 3 suddenly refused to connect.  Swapped it out with a new Smart 3 hub and had the same issue.  I was being lazy and using the same power supply.   However when I swapped to  a a new power supply I got a connection straight away - with both Hubs.

So the original power supply has clearly gone faulty.   After trying calling and going round in circles with the AI bot and the automated fault checker I am getting nowhere trying to order a replacement.

Anyone any idea?

Re: Business Smart Hub 3 power supply

If you already have a replacement power supply, why do you need to order another one?

Re: Business Smart Hub 3 power supply

Because I borrowed one from a neighbour who is awaiting their installation to resume after issues on the original appointment.

Re: Business Smart Hub 3 power supply

Probably best to source your own.

You just need the same size plug*, same voltage and at least the same current output.

Just keep the old unit, so that when they ask for the hub back you can send them that one.

(*Not sure the size of the plug?  Use a set of metric drill bits.  If a 3.0mm doesn’t fit, try a 2.5mm.  If that doesn’t fit, it is more than likely a 2.1mm).
