CSP access point for internal cable

Hi all,

Openreach installing my FTTP upgrade next week.

Just wanted to know if the back plate of the CSP box has an exit point through which the internal cable could be fed directly through the external wall?

Or does the cable which is to be fed into the house have to ‘exit’ the CSP box and is routed on the external wall to a nearby drilled entry point?

Thanks

Re: CSP access point for internal cable

The larger CSP’s have a hole on the back plate.

Not sure about the new Micro CSP’s though, not seen inside one as Openreach started using them after I left Service Delivery.

Re: CSP access point for internal cable

This is the older CSP, you can see where there’s two points on the back plate where a cable can feed through the back.

These are the newer Micro CSP’s Openreach have been using for some time now. I can’t find a picture of the inside of one though.
