I'm going to put in a thin draw wire for the engineer.
When the cable is pulled through from the inside is it done with the lead-in kit in place in the wall or do they thread the cable through it first & then shove it into the wall?
Solved! Go to Solution.
The Engineer drills a hole, 10mm wide through from the inside out.
He/she then should use a shorter 12mm piece to widen it inside.
The Lead In Tube pushes easily through said 10mm hole.
If anything a draw string would be a hindrance for the Lead In Kit.
Thanks for clarifying that for me.
I omitted to say I bought a lead-in kit from Comtec so everything's installed should OR or Kelly (who contract round here) choose to use it.
If not they can remove it & use their own kit which I imagine will be the same.
