Re: Change EE

The EE account should be an option to the BT account number as a drop down from where the BT number is - you can switch between the two. MyBT should become inactive tomorrow.

I would give it a couple of hours tomorrow and then chase again. Ring EE first but they may not have anything on their system but you should have some form of order reference VOL xxxxx showing in MyBT which you can quote but reading between the lines you are probably going to find it's a right dogs dinner and it may be BT have just cancelled your contract in error and nothing is being migrated. The only good news is that EE should then treat you as a new customer if that's the direction you want to go.

EE customer services is 0800 079 8586 Option 1 for home broadband and phone.

Re: Change EE

Well after a long chat this morning something is finally happening. New equipment will arrive tomorrow and I just checked and my old router is now up and running. Hopefully it will just be plug and play to change them over.

Re: Change EE

Good news and yes it should be plug and play now that the connection has been restored.

Re: Change EE

Yes it  will be plug and play however if you have wireless devices connected then change the SSID and password to those of the BT hub that you have and they will connect seamlessly.
