Similar damage only in context... and I am not able to fix it properly.  Very curious to hear how the big damage to brick and bare cables was dealt with for Bluemoon_19???

It wasn't the best fix but it was basically filled with silicone sealant. It stopped the potential for water ingress and that's all that I was worried about. Before when I was in contact with the openreach lawyers about getting it sorted I was having to fill out forms and all sorts.

The best thing to fill a brickwork blowout like that is Quikset cement - readily available at any DIY store. Very easy to mix with water and apply with a knife or spatula and smoothed off before it dries - which only takes about 10 minutes.
