Database Inaccuracy: Openreach Data Integrity Check actioned by BT but no action taken by Openreach

Summary: we cannot get off copper infrastructure to fibre, despite the infrastructure being in place.  This appears to be an Openreach database address error and they will not correct it.

Background: on e.g. www.openreach.com/fibre-checker: "We have no plans to build full fibre to this property yet."
But the infrastructure can be seen on overhead lines/poles on the road outside our house, full fibre is available to immediate neighbours.  We spoke with Openreach engineers when they were installing it/neighbours so we know these are not assumptions.  BT has also confirmed immediate neighbours have fibre available.

Despite Managers at BT putting in the correct forms for an ORDI (Sept 2025), the following is still causing problems:

Openreach Fibre Checker has 2 addresses for us, but only the first is correct, and that matches the Royal Mail PAF.

On the Fibre Checker, only the PAF address has a message about fibre, nothing about copper being available despite us having a broadband package with BT on copper currently.  The incorrect address has a message about fibre not available, but copper availability is mentioned.

It appears that Openreach systems regard us as the incorrect address (we have a BT broadband package currently on copper), but Openreach systems also say that address has no fibre infrastructure, hence it being impossible to put in an order for it with BT.  This is a database error on Openreach's side, keeping us on sub-Government recommended speeds and they are willfully/illegally preventing us from having the correct info recorded so we can get fibre.

We have spent over a year trying to get BT to help and Openreach to amend their database/s to match the Royal Mail PAF to no avail.  I want contact details for someone at Openreach who will actually give a damn and update the appropriate database/s!

@Darkmere72 I suggest you delete your address, this is a public forum viewable worldwide.

OK - post edited. I had to log in with BT credentials to post so I didn't think the forum was public.

Bit of a leftfield suggestion but if the other address shows availability has a home move been considered? Would update the address

Thanks for replying. Everything to do with our BT account has the correct address, in line with the PAF. Somehow, when fibre availability is checked, despite this address being used for the check, there being the other old new-build address in Openreach's systems screws things up.

Why has someone else than me been able to mark this as solved when it's not solved??!!

Peter_W butt out and taken off the resolution.  I did not ask for you to intervene.

This is typical 'anything to do with BT' - mark things as resolved when there's a long-time outstanding issue, against customer wishes.

I REPEAT - THIS IS NOT SOLVED.

@Darkmere72

did you complete the openreach form posted by @iniltous  as others with similar address problems have had success when using form to contact openreach
