Delayed start of seven months

Automatic compensation says  only for 60 days  max

Can it ever be increased? Seems unfair

Thanks

Re: Delayed start of seven months

What's unfair about over £370? More than the charges for 7 months service

Re: Delayed start of seven months

It.sUnfair because I was paying out of contract price to prev provider all that time.

Which was extremely expensive

Re: Delayed start of seven months

What was the contract price compared to the out of contract price. Does the difference exceed £370?

Re: Delayed start of seven months

Difference does not exceed £370 but at £300 it's  an awful lot of money to pay . Once past the 60 days there was clearly no incentive for BT to try and expedite things - and indeed they did not.

Re: Delayed start of seven months

It might be an awful lot of money but BT are paying it for you so you are not out of pocket.

You have not said why you are getting compensation.

If you still have broadband  I take it you are trying to change ISP and Openreach have been unable to get you connected for some reason or is it another issue?

Re: Delayed start of seven months

Had to change from plusnet as wanted landline.

Open reach cancelled several apptmts/did not show up etc.

Lots of confusion prob because new contract said Full Fibre.

But it's not available in my area!
