Hi. I am trying to install BT Broadband into a house that is currently empty (to be occupied from end of next month). I cannot find any details about BTs policy on the engineers visit, specifically if they will install without anyone present. EEs policy is clear (they insist on an adult to be present) but cant find anything about BTs position. Cheers
Solved! Go to Solution.
BT is the same as EE. For any internal work BT/Openreach insist that a person over 18 years be present.
"On the day, before we start the work, we'll agree with you how to get a new line into your premises. A decision maker aged 18+ will need to be present throughout the appointment as we may need to ask questions on the day.".
Thanks. Didnt spot that.
