I'm new to the UK and have just moved into a newish (I think 2020) build flat in Newquay. I have been trying for the past two weeks trying to get internet but have been told by multiple providers there's no copper or fiber...
When I check the bt wholesale for the building (there's 3 flats in the building) it says FTTP is available. When I check for my flat, it says FTTP on demand. I've posted the screenshots below and would love to know what my options are.
I have spent over 250£ in deposits for installations that get auto ceased the day after. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the first dslchecker results show the address as a single residential dwelling and the second set show it correctly as flats and probably why FTTP is not available. there is no contact from this community to openreach so try contacting openreach using this form and see what reply you receive

Got a reply from Openreach stating the following
"I have looked into this, and the fibre network has been built in your area but there is an error in our records which is preventing you from placing an order. I’m now in the process of correcting this for you.
I need to associate your address to the nearby fibre equipment. It will take us about 7 working days to complete this and you should then be able to place an order. I will update you as soon as our systems reflect this.
I’ve got all of your details, so shouldn’t need anything else before coming back to you. Thanks for your patience in the meantime."
I will update this once I find out more, but it's looking good! Knock on wood.
If the flats were built in 2020 they should’ve been built with FTTP and not Copper.
@36ULW As the building shows as a single dwelling it may be that the building was converted to flats in 2020.
Being far too nosy and looking at this on street view , the address appears to be a purpose built MDU , it looks , given the age and design of many of the neighbouring addresses as though the original building was demolished to make way for this development , hence the duplicate entry’s on address databases , what’s more there appears to be two blocks , one set behind the other , and the OP individual units address seems to be in the rear block (so no line of sight from the road ) with the general area being fed overhead, so if the developer made no provision to get services into the building when construction was taking place , then although OR are looking at this , it may not be possible to retrospectively provide service without the usual and often lengthy process of getting a MDU enabled for FTTP
Haha, no worries! I’m in the front block. I replied above with what openreach said to me. So I’m pretty sure they did provision but it’s a matter of getting them to correct it in their system. At least, I hope that’s the case
