FTTP installation - is it good enough?

Hi,

I had fibre installed by a Kelly's engineer and was bit disappointed with his approach to quality of work.

He wasn't going to put the ONT on the wall untill I asked him to, was going to just leave it off, he didn't have RJ45 for the ONT to router

Checked outside and this is the routing.

Anyone could step on the wire by the door and bit top swings in the wind.

That installation does look a bit sloppy.

I don't think Openreach, by whom Kelly will be employed as a sub contractor, are directly contactable by you, as your contract for FTTP is with BT. So, if you want to take up the matter I think you'll need to do so with BT

That Cabling is Shoddy.

Might be worth getting them, and the person who did that Rendering Job back out to fix it.

I wouldn't be happy with the top bit, future faults waiting there. Have they screwed into UPVC facia?

His left the old copper wiring connected and only screwed in the metal fixing into the facia and then looped the wire into it, will check but not attached the wire to anything else
