Fibre Broadband - available package only up to 50mb although line supports up to 65mb?

Hi,

I am thinking of joining BT broadband but I checked what services I can get and according to BT's website, the broadband speed I can get is up to 50 mbps while according to BT wholesale and my router, I can get up to 65 mbps.
Can you please explain why there is such a big difference?

Here are the statistics from my router and BT wholesale

Thanks

I can't see why you should be restricted to fibre 1 and should be able to get the extra few mb with paying for fibre 2.  your up speed seems low compared to your attainable range
