After years of waiting for BT to deliver Fttp in our village I received a letter from Netomnia informing they would be cabling out this area shortly and I would be able to get Fttp from one of their partner Isps.
Last year Openreach cleared all the ducts in readiness for full fibre but the project was never completed. Now it looks as if another company is going to finish the job.
I assume the partner Isps this company refers to do not include BT. I have been a BT customer for over 40 years and also worked for BT so do have some sort of aliegance to them.
Anyone have any experience with this company and how they compare price wise? I assume they use BT ducts so in my case the installation would be from a pole. Do any of the partners Isps offer a landline option as well?
Dissapointed with Openreach and that again BT will lose another customer should I decide to go full fibre when it becomes available.
It’s not allowed to discuss competitors on this forum , you need to ask for opinions on Netomnia on other forums or websites that ‘rate’ providers .
AFAIK , Netomnia are not like Openreach or City Fibre , in that they are not an open network provider , although they state ISP partners, they seem to only have one ISP available , their in house ISP , Youfibre .
