Fibre line faulty 3 times in 3 months

We went with BT/OPENREACH for fibre only as the preffered service provider. What a huge mistake. We have been on fibre for 3 months and 3 times the service has failed, the first 2 it came back on after a few hours. This time its over a week, the engineer came out last week to the house, apologised that the guy, a contractor that initially installed it had made a complete hash of the instalation.   Great guy he must have been here 3 hours, but after he had re wired the whole setup there was still no signal from the external box.  Phoned customer services today the 10th october. very polite lady, but its no use shouting at her, she just works for the  shower,  she advised that due to industrial action no engineers will be out today. A nd it could be Thursday before it is fixed. ????

Now BT/OPENREACH seem to want your monthly D/D paying, but refuse to supply a reliable service, what is going on with these amateur bunch of clowns. Its fine paying there chief exec a huge sum every year but if he cared he would get the mess he is running sorted out. But probabbly like most uk companies they want your money and a very professional intro to lure you into taking out a contract, but thats as far as it gets. Take your money but we will leave you without a service after that. And if i cancel my D/D they will be smothering  my in box with threatening letters. Quoting the word useless is putting it mildly.  They are just a bunch of amateur un prefoessional incompetent managers.     They need to get up and read the diabolical seriously bad reviews on Trust pilot plus other sites.
