Hi there,
I'm a frequent poster here - apologies. In order to keep this post as short as possible, if you require more information to answer my following question, please check my profile as it's all there! I don't want this to be a ginormous post!
Can any of you clever people see anything odd with this most recent, and longest (10 minutes) disconnection event log? Does anything stand out? Notably the ''forced termination?''

That's the only question I currently have on my quest to narrow this down! (I'm 4 engineers in, all useless, so taking this on myself as best I can)! Thanks very much either way.
Also on the look out for site/forum suggestions where I can post my findings!
did you take up the mod offer of assistance on 10 aug?
Unfortunately, my only option via mod is to get engineer #5 out. I currently cannot afford to take another day off work. Also, having to start the process again from scratch with every fault, every month, is not healthy for me. That's why I asked this specific question in this thread.
Hence my hunt for answers (checking for patterns or anythin that stands out). Assuming I've reached a dead end on the forums now though.
I don't think it's unreasonable for me to ask other questions here though surely? 😕 I'm 4 engineers and 3 routers down, already changed my contract to a cheaper one so... next steps?! I don't know
As you have turned down mod assistance and cannot arrange for someone to allow an engineer visit if needed, I honestly cannot see anything further that can be done for you.
The mods here are the best placed to solve your problem, you can ask them to keep your issue open(once resolved) until the following month in case it happens again. I'm sure they'd be willing.
The mods here have an excellent reputation for getting issues resolved and keeping the user updated every step of the way. You are also assuming it would need an engineer visit to resolve, some can be resolved without (perhaps an external one which you don't need to be there).
How you proceed is entirely up to you but I feel you have reached a dead end here. Or you can take up the mod offer.
Indeed! However, I haven't ever been offered the option for an engineer to only fix the external fault. As I've been told time and time again by the mods, they can't help me when it comes to Openreach. All the mods can do is book an engineer. That's what THEY told me. I've basically begged for any other option, as no one can take 5 days off work for this.
I am interested if anyone can spot anything significant in the event logs, if anyone's knowledgeable in that area?
I think you're right though, there's nothing more to be done here. Thanks anyway. You have to understand, as a customer, it's nuts that there's no one person in a place of "power" that can be like "okay, this line has had faults multiple times a year, for a decade. Let's get some replacement work done. Let's get this this sorted."
I start from absolute scratch every time, and every engineer is completely surprised that it's an intermittent fault, the first intermittent fault ever! Argh. Yeah okay I give up.
The CEO of Openreach has the power. You can find the email address on an internet search. Be polite, explain your problem clearly and concisely and you may be surprised.
I'm not entirely sure if you're kidding or not, but I will actually look into that!
He's not kidding.
