When fttp comes to my area will I be forced on to it or will I be able to stay on copper wire connection to my property (ie. Stay on fttc)

You can stay on FTTC. You don't have to upgrade currently

Thank you. Notice you say “currently”. Do you think we will be forced? If so any guess as to how long? I ask because of the disruption running fiber to me property would cause

Who knows. When you are the last customer connected to the cabinet I doubt Openreach will keep it working just for you.
I can sympathise though, it would be a massive disruption to provide me with fibre and I'm not keen either.
