Full Fibre 150 does it require a land line

BT Full Fibre 150 is currently available for £31 a month online  , so £41 is way too much unless you are keeping your Unlimited Minutes telephone plan , in which case the additional £10 for Unlimited Minutes is pretty good , as it represents £8 discount on the list price (£18) , if you are paying £41 just for broadband (with no telephone at all ) that’s a poor deal , £31 is the 24 month deal , the 12 month deal is £36 ,either way £41 too much unless you have added extras

@TouteSeule  At time of posting, you can get 145mb FTTP from Plusnet as a new customer for £22.99 a month until March 2027 with no setup costs, so even £31.99 with BT is way too much as an existing customer of BT. Even for brand new customers to BT, they can get 150mbps for £23.99. Obviously these prices do not include a landline, TV packages or any other gumpf being offered.

EE is also £22.99 a month, but you won't get that as a 'new customer' because you are already with BT and BT and EE are the same company.

Unless you are wedded to the BT brand, money sense logic all day long says switch using OTS because I doubt BT retentions would match £22.99 as an existing customer. But then they MIGHT just surprise you, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Every March, the utterly pointless £4 a month increase will apply. I say utterly pointless, because the baseline prices for new customers are almost always the same, year in, year out. The £4 a month monthly increase is therefore nothing more than a money grabbing exercise and quite a successful one at that.
