Full fibre implementation date query

I am on the edge of Macclesfield, but classed as semi rural.

Openreach have been seen in 'regular' streets/roads near to my address where they have been putting ‘splitter boxes’ atop the telegraph poles.

However, they haven’t come into my road, which is 200 yards further down the main road.

Is it possible to get an approximate date for when/if I will be able to get full fibre? Openreach rollout plans state ‘building in this area’.

If it’s not likely to be soon, I may as well subscribe to Starlink for 12 months as my current FTTC is not adequate and my Sky stream constantly breaks up.

Your best bet is to put a query in on Openreach's website.

(Although Openreach is part of BT Group, Openreach and the ISP BT are separate companies, so no one on this website will be able to answer your question).

But don't set too much store by Openreach's reply (if indeed you get one). I fear you're unlikely to get anything better than the "building in your area" reply that you've already got.
Openreach's installation plans change quite often, depending on the difficulties they encounter during installations and whether their available budget has been used up more quickly than originally planned.
If your FTTC is not adequate for your needs you probably are best off going for Starlink for 12 months and then re-assessing.
