Hoping someone can help, I've been without Internet since Thursday AM and have no idea when it will be resolved.
Bt support are describing its a major outage however they can't tell me what it is or when it will be fixed which is frustrating.
Is there anyway of finding out what the issue is? My house is un upton, wirall Merseyside.

If you have landline you should be able to enter your BT phone number here - https://www.bt.com/help/check-service-status
Only other suggestion is to try Zen status page and enter your local area code and see if any outages are listed but I dont't find this exhaustive - https://status.zen.co.uk/broadband/
