Huge Packet Loss on FTTP Business Package

Go to solution

So to clarify, simple pings appear to be fine (high but acceptable) however I'm getting weird results in steam server finder.

I did some packet tracing and I'm seeing like 29% packet loss at my router, 41% loss at 213.120.163.248 and 20% loss at 195.99.126.19
But I think BT are only responsible for my router AND 213.120.163.248

I have seen posts pointing to disable IPV6 on my router (I can't see how to do that),
I also have a static IP and when I got the email it said my gateway should be 255.255.255.254 however in the router it's showing as 255.255.255.255 (No Idea if this needs changing)
I have forwarded all the correct ports and there is no double nat on the system, I've factory reset all settings on the router and still no issues.

I'm begging for help as I've just signed up to a 2 year contract with BT and although the speeds are great, this ISP is unusable for the servers I run and I'm trapped paying for 2 years now.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

I would  recommend doesn't mention the non-existant packet loss.
