Hybrid No Sim Signal

Hello

I have just received my Halo 3 upgrade. The disc works fine. However the Hybrid is showing 3 red bars. I took the SIM card out and put it in my EE phone and I got no service. I then put my EE SIM in the Hybrid and I got 3 blue bars. I phoned customer services and told them either I need a new SIM or it needs activating. He didn’t seem to understand and said he would send me a new Hybrid hub! I was like NO! But he wasn’t listening. So I thought I’d ask you guys? Any ideas? Does the SIM need activating? Do I need to wait?

Thanks!

Re: Hybrid No Sim Signal

@JamieLeeds  The Help Person obviously didn't want to listen to your telling him/her the problem.

I doubt the SIM was pre-activated though I have seen cases where they were.

Will this help?

Re: Hybrid No Sim Signal

Initially my hybrid hub worked for a few days but then lost connection with EE and I had 3 red bands showing

Talked to BT and they sent me a new hub which I received the next day
