Hi, had a Openreach engineer come round on Wednesday due to BT not giving me the speed they say ,should be at least 70mb ,however it’s been running at 65 for some time whic I just settled on ,what triggered me was after the storm power cuts I was getting back to 74 for a day so relished it’s attainable ,so now he changed faceplate and did a DLM reset which has made it interleaved, a level 2 engineer was due for tomorrow but cancelled, basically how long would it take to go back to fast path which should get the speed back up - hardware = Asus AX86U + Vigor 130 ( home hub is even slower )

it won't go back to fast and as on ECI cab (i assume that is ECI can) there is no speed boost from G.INP
however if you just stay connected 24/7 your speed may improve in 7/10 days
But it was on fast path previously, BT gave me a guarantee of 70 as well ,looks like I may be going down the hand back route ,and yes it’s ECI cab ,thanks
BT like other ISP will give a connection speed range not an exact speed you can check by enter phone number here

Yes aware of that site and should be 80 - 74 , there’s something not right that I do know and it’s at there end ,my equipment and cables are all good quality, thought that with the DLM being reset it would start to improve
