Hi, I've had BT Full Fibre 900Mb/s for nearly a year now, it was a new installation from the cabinet (they had to dig the road up) so everything is brand new. The problem is it's never been right from day one I get speeds as low as 30Mb/s or no signal at all, I play games on a Xbox series X and watch netflix, Prime, Apple and Paramount TV I also have Sky Q and a LG Smart TV. I know instantly when the signal is playing up as which ever service I'm watching/playing at the time will either drop out or buffer to the point where it's unwatchable/ unplayable. I've had an engineer out twice had both the ONT and router replaced twice but to no avail. The engineers on the phone can't see a fault when I'm staring at an orange light flashing on my router or a miossing light on the ONT. This morning the engineer came out because I had no internet at the router (flashing orange light). When I contacted BT customer support there was no signal but at there end I had a good signal being sent, the trouble was after a day and a half of nothing (I kept turning the ONT on and off and rebooting the router) the router started working again so when the engineer arrived there wasn't a problem in fact when he tested the speeds I was getting 1.6Gb/s so much faster than I'm payiong for but I know this won't last. I understand that this is an intermittent problem but after a year you'd think BT would have sorted it out I'm so fed up with it I suffer with depression and this really isn't helping me mentally. I've tried everything I can, replaced all the cables with good quality CAT 7 and when I got the new router I swapped out all the cables sent with the new router but the problem still remains. I'm sure the problem lies in the green box or from the box to the exchange or even at the exchange because everything in my home has been replaced TWICE! If anyone has any Idea what I can do I'd be enternally grateful.
Thanks
Trev
FTTP does not come from the exchange or the street cabinet unlike FTTC
