Re: Intermittent internet

Nothing that I can think of as changed. The hub as two Mac computers hard wired and a Netgear gigabit switch in the other  feeding two cctv recorders , hive hub, wifi disk and a pc  which is off most of the time.

wi fi phones, laptop, two iPads tv's, sky, sky boosters.

Re: Intermittent internet

Ah, others more knowledgable  may be able to help here? It might be worth disconnecting parts of your network to see if devices are causing the hub to run out of  IP addresses in its pool. And see if the internet access becomes stable again. Worth a try? Or maybe you’ve done that already?

Re: Intermittent internet

The hub running out of IP address space is a possibility.  (In which case, it will need a factory reset to clear it).  It's well known for it.

I'd check if the ipads are using "MAC randomisation" if I were you.  If they are, it's a security feature you don't need in your own network.  You can turn it off.  (I don't know about the wi-fi phones, but I'd check them too).
