Hi I have FTTP with the Smart Hub, on the last three occasions when I have gone away on holiday my internet seems to shut itself down. I become aware of it because my doorbell cam reports that it’s offline. When I get home the hub seems ok, with the blue light, but the internet connection has disappeared. A reboot of the hub cures the problem.
My question is does the hub go into some sort of sleep mode after a period of inactivity, is there a setting somewhere that I need to toggle?

I would suggest giving our broadband tech guides a call so the connection can be checked and see why this happened the last three times you have been on holiday.

Think of Broadband as a running tap....it stays on unless you switch it off.
Well that’s what I thought, but three times now it has shut itself down when I’ve been on holiday 🤷♂️
Probably some sort of power saving mode, perhaps on the door bell?
