New Router/Worse Connection

What is going on? I have FTTC and I want to make a formal complaint!

My DV stopped working but my internet was fine.

I was issued a new Hub because of my Voice issues which has made my internet worse (close to dial-up) my pages are loading a line of pixels at a time.

I've been on the help pages and all they want to do is reboot my router over and over.

I'm not paying circa £80 per month when your service is not being provided. 5Mbps on a good day...get a grip!!!

Re: New Router/Worse Connection

3 reboots and I am on 25Mbps...nothing like the 67/70Mbps I had previously.

Re: New Router/Worse Connection

Most likely a line fault, a disconnection on one wire of the cable pair. That would have affected the DV voice quality as well.

Post the connection statistics from the home hub. That should show maximum attainable rate and connection rate.

Re: New Router/Worse Connection

Speed has now resolved itself,im back at 60ish Mbps.

My TV is now the problem. Should I start a new thread? I'm getting Error IPC6023. I've Reset TV box, router, everything.

When resetting my STB it says it's found 133 channels but shows the error when I try to view any.

This has only happened since the new hub.

Re: New Router/Worse Connection

I've plugged my old hub in and all my channels have come back working fine?
