Hi hoping someone can help me please.
I am moving house soon and my new address is currently showing as no Broadband available with any of the Internet Service Providers.
I have checked the BT Wholesale Broadband checker and:
FTTP is not available.
The exchange is not in a current fibre priority programme
WBC FTTTC Availability = Unavailable and WBC SOGEA Availability = Watiing list. I have been checking regularly before and Part Fibre broadband was available but not now, is this normal?
How often does availability change, there are lots of new builds in the area, will this affect availability?
Thanks

from what you have posted FTTP is not available at your address currently but FTTC is - unfortunately the cabinet is full and there is a waiting list for FTTC connection. all you can do is keep checking and as soon as you see available then place order

Unfortunately, as FTTC is now a legacy product, it is unlikely that capacity will be increased. You are therefore at the mercy of someone ceasing their service for a port to become available. There is no waiting list, it is first come first served if a port becomes available.
Thank you for your reply. Do you know why it is still possible to purchase Broadband with an address in the same area that has the same Cabinet number (which is displaying waiting list on the Broadband checker) just not for my address?
It won't be possible, it will fail.
Thank you.
