Iam trying to remain optimistic but when your wife and daughter are asking you several times every day when will it be fixed it's difficult.
I'm hopeful it won't take too much longer
Have you looked at other 4G mobile providers coverage to tide you over?
https://checker.ofcom.org.uk/en-gb/mobile-coverage
These are always predictions so you'd need to order a free SIM to confirm if you get acceptable signal indoors.
We borrowed an EE 4G router from a friend and that was no better. Very poor signal most of the time where we live and always has been and that's why we have to rely so much on having home phone service.
EE/BT is the same thing so you need to look at what O2, Vodafone & Three can offer. I edited my previous post with a link to the Ofcom checker.
Thank you, I will look into that
@gg30340 It’s not a case of being a “Doom sayer” as you put it. Merely, a case of stating facts. If facts are not palatable to you then I suggest you do not comment on them in a negative way. But surely, a Distinguished Sage such as yourself would know this?
It may be a fact for you but not for every body and a negative comment like "I wouldn’t expect the work to be done any time soon mate… " hardly helps the OP with his problem so I would suggest that you do not comment in such a negative way, but surely an "Aspiring Contributor" such as your self would know this?
I really do hope that something can be done soon as my boss emailed me this afternoon to let me know that as of third week of July my job is changing to a hybrid role and I will be working from home three days a week and will need excellent connectivity. If I'm not able to do this I will lose the promotion I just got....
If there is anything anyone can do to get things sorted I and my family would be greatly appreciative
As you have already contacted the moderators they will keep you updated and do what they can to resolve this as quickly as they can.
Yes, just a matter of staying patient and keeping everyone in my house sane at the same time until things are sorted out 🙂
