What do I do if my WiFi box didn’t come with a microfiter or modem
if by 'wifi box' you mean the BT router then the modem is built into the router. what broadband do you have /getting -- fibre to home FTTP or fibre to street cab and copper to home FTTC?
Micro filters are no longer needed with Digital Voice.
It’s the smart hub 3 I have
You don't need either a modem or filter
So where do I connect the cable I have ?
You didn’t answer imjolly’s question…Part Fibre (FTTC) or Full Fibre (FTTP)?
Edit: If they’ve sent you a Smart Hub 3, I would assume it is a new Full Fibre connection.
Full Fibre is just any standard Cat 5e cable to connect from the WAN port on the router to the ONT, (the box on the wall with lights on it). Phone plugs into the green phone socket on the back of the Smart Hub.
Is the Smarthub 3 supplied by BT or did you purchase it your self?
See link for the sockets on the the hub.
