Ordered Fibre 1 and PAYG on 22 August
Installation inside house completed on 12 September. Engineer said that work needed to be done to outside line in order to activate and would take 2-3 days. Since 12 September, no phone line as BT had already transferred number from previous provider.
Openreach engineer visited 28 September. Completed some outside work, but needs to get under neighbour's drive. This needs another team.
Since then, no progress.
Have had active complaint since 16 September. Numerous calls to advisers who promise to phone back and don't.
Any advice, please, on how to get this sorted? Inconvenient to not have phone line. Fortunately had not yet cancelled internet with previous provider.
Which broadband package have you ordered from BT - FTTC or FTTP?
Do you have an openreach phoneline currently in your home?
Do you know if openreach have contacted your neighbour about digging up their drive?
It’s FFTC, as far as I know. We don’t currently have an Openreach line. I don’t know if they have contacted the neighbour.
