It is per month not per week and it is because your package has the expensive Halo3 add on plus complete wifi.

You are also not on a Full Fibre package hence the slower speeds.

If she is out of contract that will mean she will be paying full price without any discount for being in a Fixed Term Contract.

The full price is what any person taking out that contract would see. It is not exclusive to your mother.

If the contract is taken out any person including your mother would have been able to get some sort of discount.

It is up to her to update her contract and if needed change the contract to something more suitable for her needs.

I would suggest that if she does want to enter a new Fixed Term Contract she should make sure that unless she has a need for a Halo contract and discs that she drop those and just get a basic BT Broadband contract and if needed a landline telephone contract as part of the package.

As I have already explained, it is because she has a Halo3 package and complete wifi.

If she qualifies she may be able to get this.

BT Home Essentials Broadband | Universal Credit Broadband

The ball is now in your court. You either suck it up and pay or do as suggested and change package or ISP
