Phone cable hanging off wall

Last week an engineer was working on various poles in our street.  It sure if linked or not, but on Saturday I noticed our phone cable had pulled away from our house wall (other end connected to the BT pole) and was hanging by some of the lower tacks.
whose job is it to fix this? I’m concerned that if it isn’t fixed very quickly the whole lot will come down and cause more damage to our line and leave us without broadband (husband works from home, can’t be without broadband)

@Burmey

You can report it as a safety issue.

https://www.openreach.com/help-and-support/damage-health-and-safety#:~:text=Utility%20companies%20sh...).

You can report things like:

  • damaged underground cables (often caused by mechanical diggers in built-up areas)
  • loose cables or cables dangling from telephone poles
