Reduction in evening speeds

Does anyone else experience a reduction in speeds or quality in the evening?  We use a firestick connected via the Halo 2 repeater disks and never have a problem streaming or watching anything during the daytime.  However, we get lots of buffering from around 21:00, which is a real pain.  The spooky thing is that very often if I run a speed test whilst the firestick is buffering, the buffering will clear during or after the speed test!!  Is the service being throttled or reduced I wonder?

Re: Reduction in evening speeds

BT do not restrict or throttle connections more likely congestion as about 21.00 is peak time

Re: Reduction in evening speeds

Had a long chat with BT and they carried out some checks.  They say the repeater hub for the TV has a fault, so are sending out a replacement.  Fingers crossed!
