Replacing the internal cable for my internet.

I moved home and became a BT customer earlier this year. Initially I had substantial internet issues. This resulted in an engineer visting my property and doing some repairs to an external cable. He advised that while the fix he had made has brought me up to their minimum standard there was evidence of loss occuring within the internal internet cable between the house connection and the port for the router.

This cable is not accessible as it runs over the roof and through an unpaved insulated attic.

How do I go about getting this replaced and is there any services or recommendations for getting this done safely and professionally.

The internet is mostly of decent speed but there are regular drops at least once every two minutes for a  second or so. This is noticable as I play live online games and this has interrupted that.

Any assistance or recommendations would be appreciated.

Harris.

Re: Replacing the internal cable for my internet.

You have not said what type of broadband you have installed ie is it Fibre to the Cabinet FTTC or Fibre to the Premises FTTP or also known as Full Fibre. This will decide what type of cable you need fitting.

A local networking engineer or a competent electrician should be able to run a new cable to replace the old cable,
