I've been sent the SH2 after renewing my contract as apparently I need to take Digital Voice with it now. Eventually set up with a lot of hassle having had to reconnect every Wi-Fi device as even changing the SSID to match the old one wouldn't work.
I've been sent packaging to return the Smart Hub otherwise I "may be charged". Is this essential?

If you have had the Smarthub prior to 13th Dec 2019 you do not need to send it back.
If after that date you need to send it back or you will be charged for it.

I have had it prior to 13th December 2019 but have renewed my contract a few times since then although no new Hub provided.
Logging in to MY BT it does say "Failure to Return Charge" is £0 so does this mean I will not be charged even though they sent me a Return Bag?
Yes.You can keep it with no charge.
BT have to offer to recycle it hence the message.
