Good morning,

Another day fresh start so as usual- ran the tests through cable and speeds are OK

Don't know why you think that its a Wifi connected ....the Wifi icon only is shown as connection not a type.

Fast.com had 139 reading so good as well

As you've cut off some important information in your photos there it's difficult to see, but have you plugged your laptop into the mini hub and not into the smarthub?

Laptop was connected to Port 1 of the HH2. Everything else was off . Should I connect straight to ONT?

Have you got a HH2 or a smarthub 2? If you've got the former rather than the latter then you need to contact BT ASAP to get a smarthub 2 or use a 3rd party router. Personally I use the asus ax88u for my full fibre connection.

I have a Smart Hub 2...its actually a 3rd one now.

I checked HH2 and was able to connect fine, I also have Asus RT-AC66U and used that and all of them acted the same. I have been on the phone with a BT Today (Connenction now after few resets is fine) and they raised another fault as they speed they were getting were not prior and engineer visit was booked for Tomorrow to look at the things.

As you posted last year concerning the same issue on your FTTC connection, but never posted a resolution then I'm guessing it's an issue with how you've setup your local network rather than any issue with your Internet connection

Re: SLT check cont.

Well solution was the pair of cables faulty which had to be changed in the cabinet...and how do you know what's with my local network when all is connected how it should be and for the tests there is only router-testing PC/laptop involved.

Fault is raised 2nd time and not as my request but by the person running the tests at the BT side. Wifi aside direct cable connection is well below the estimated  speeds and its not my fault that they are dropping throughout the day (like now)

I hope that specialist  engineer visit tomorrow will share some light what is going on.

Nothing happen over the weekend. After Cube engineer escalated and arranged a Openreach visit they did not show. Sat -Sun more messages were emerging around and all ppl affected were on Fibre to prem so eventually dots were joined and some one looked at it and it looks like it is fixed. Shame that original fault with slow speeds from 19-Apr took soo long but better later than never.
