There could be a whole number of factors at play. What WiFi channels are your phone and PS5 connecting to? The 2.4ghz channel has a longer range but a slower connection, whereas 5ghz channels generally have a faster connection but shorter range. Depends also on where your router is located in relation to what you’re trying to connect to.
Also, when did you last do a reboot on your router to clear the cache?
Same with your phone, if you do a full reset of your phone’s network settings, that can help speed things up.
As far as your PS5 goes, have you tried connecting it to your router directly using at least a Cat6 ethernet cable?
