If it works as expected using the "old" hub and does not work with either of the "new" hubs and assuming you have tried a factory set on both the hubs it would appear that you do have two faulty hubs.

@-Richie- Neither are the same thing. With FTTP you should recieve the headline rate, with FTTC not everyone will as it is reliant on distance from the cab and line conditions.
Full Fibre products have been available for quite a while now since the number of FTTP homes passed has increased.
@pippincp I'm aware how the technology works, until recently though BT named the promotions the same, Fibre 1 was Fibre 1 no matter how it was delivered, the difference was the SLT and the estimated speeds customers received.
